Ethan Avina
I am a husband, father, creative, and all around people-person based in the Chicagoland area. My career has been shaped around serving as a storyteller in the events industry, a musician, a teacher, and a conductor. Through music, I work with pieces and ensembles that range from simple to complex. I enjoy the timelessness of chant melodies, while also treading through the flowing lines of polyphonic and orchestral works. You can also catch me washing dishes while jamming out to anything from the Killers to Broadway. With over a decade in the events industry, I help others bring to reality a flowing itinerary and event experience through communication and coordination. My art, be it in making music, leading an ensemble, or creating a narrative and flow of an event, is the weaving together stories of a community.
I reside in the Chicagoland suburbs with my wonderful wife and our two adventurous children. In my spare time, I help my wife with her cottage bakery, Saintly Cinnamon Rolls, and enjoy being in the moment any chance I have with my children.
